Open Field Psychotherapy is a Northampton-based practice offering psychotherapy and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy within a relational, multidisciplinary model of care. We see ketamine not as a stand-alone intervention, but as one part of a carefully supported therapeutic process that includes preparation, clinician presence during sessions, and integration afterward.

Peter Corbett, LICSW
Founder & Clinical Director
Peter Corbett, LICSW, is a psychotherapist with more than three decades of clinical experience and approximately ten years of work in psychedelic medicine and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. He earned graduate degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Smith College School for Social Work, and his clinical background has included work with adults, adolescents, families, psychiatric crisis services, and intensive treatment settings.
Peter’s approach integrates relational, developmental, and transpersonal perspectives. He is particularly interested in how ketamine can help loosen entrenched patterns and support greater self-compassion, psychological flexibility, and meaningful growth. He has trained and supervised clinicians through the Ketamine Training Center and is the founder of KAPstone Clinics, a professional association advancing ethical, relationally grounded, and clinically rigorous ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
At Open Field Psychotherapy, Peter serves as Founder and Clinical Director and works with medical colleagues to provide individualized psychotherapy and ketamine-assisted treatment within a carefully supported therapeutic process.
Barry Sarvet, MD
Consulting Psychiatrist
Barry Sarvet, MD, is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with extensive experience in clinical care, academic medicine, research, and the development of collaborative mental health systems. He is Professor and Chair of Psychiatry at UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate and holds the Harold Grinspoon Endowed Chair of Psychiatry at Baystate Health.
Dr. Sarvet’s work has focused on expanding access to thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care and strengthening collaboration between psychiatric and primary-care clinicians. He helped develop the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project and has served as its statewide medical director since its inception. His clinical and scholarly interests include trauma-informed care, collaborative treatment, and systems that make specialized psychiatric expertise more accessible.
At Open Field Psychotherapy, Dr. Sarvet provides psychiatric consultation and medical collaboration for patients considering or receiving ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

Ezra Pryor is a Master of Social Work clinician-in-training at Smith College. His background includes science, education, coaching, and personal transformation.

His clinical interests include psychedelic and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, trauma, identity development, non-traditional relationships, spirituality, life transitions, self-acceptance, and meaning-making. He is particularly interested in supporting clients whose experiences do not always fit neatly within conventional frameworks, including transformative, spiritual, transpersonal, dreamwork, animist, and psychedelic experiences.
